September 16, 2025
The meeting was called to order at 5:20 by Arlene Williams at Scoops Ice Cream in Monroe.
Trail Report:
There were 10+ riders and campers September 12-14 at Watson Mill State Park.
Plans are being made for the Meet and Greet that happens Saturday, November 1st at ReDux Equine Rescue, 204 Mitchell Farm Rd, Colbert, GA 30628. First ride out will be at 10am. ReDux will be cooking barbecue pork and we need volunteers to supply the side dishes. Please contact Sharon Wood, to let her know what you are planning to bring or if you need to ask what you could bring. Sharon's number is 706-614-0351. Please send her a text or call.
Please let Sharon know if you will be bringing your horse and plan to ride, or if you will just join us for lunch or both. That way we will have a headcount of how many of our members will be there to help with lunch and help with the visitors that plan to ride. Please bring a chair if you plan on staying after riding to eat lunch.
This is a fundraising event for ReDux Equine Rescue and a Meet and Greet to build membership for Kel-Mac Saddle Club. Please pass the word and bring your friends! If you would like to donate to help the rescue's mission it would be much appreciated, but it's not required. All donations go to the care of the rescue horses, and there are a bunch of them!
