Cedric Burston with 4 Seasons Carriage Company will be our guest speaker for the May meeting. The meeting will be held at the Morgan County Ag Center. He will talk to us about his Percherons and driving with horses. He will also be bringing his team and his carriage for a demonstration and an opportunity for us to see his team in action.

Kel-Mac Saddle Club
Date: 3/18/2025
The meeting was called to order by Arlene Williams at 7 pm at the Watkinsville
Library. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Program: Dr. Duberstein presented an informative program regarding Dietary
Management of Horses with Insulin Dysregulation.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking account balance: $5558.01 Scholarship account
balance: $7621.31 ( $19.71 int earned)
Show Report: Julia L. talked with AJHA re points for shows. Also Event
management was notified of our upcoming shows per the Horse Protection Act.
Trail Report: The camping trip at AH Stevens was rescheduled for 3/21/25 due to
weather conditions.
The Timber Ridge camping trip is scheduled for 4/3-4/6.
There is a day ride at Redux on April 26th- ride out at 10 am. Please email Sharon

New Business: The Pegasus software was trialed for the Obstacle Clinic sign up
and was not found to be user friendly.
The trail obstacle clinic has been rescheduled for May 3, 2025.
Judge Andre Machado will be teaching an Intro to Horse Showing Clinic 4/6 at
the Ag Center.
Barbara Cumming Scholarship applications are on the website and are due on
4/15/25
Additional show sponsors are needed and volunteers are needed to assist
Christina Warren with membership recruitment.
Reminder: The first show of the season is on 4/12 at the Ag Center
